The Jahad-E-Esteghlal Institute has been registered on August 10, 1986 under No. 3151 as the Jahad-E-Esteghlal Non-profit Organization of the Foundation of Veterans and Oppressed Affairs, and has been granted to the Ministry of Construction Jihad by the Foundation after concluding the settlement agreement on August 11, 1986, by signing an agreement on the voluntary settlement.
According to Clauses 11 and 12 of the Bill Law for List of Institutions and Non-governmental Public Institutes approved on June 1, 1997 by the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Jahad-E-Esteghlal Institute has been recognized as a non-governmental public institute and its Statute has been approved by the Board of Ministers on May 3, 2000 in accordance with Note 2 of Clause 12 of the mentioned law.
Pursuant to Note under the Article 3 of the Statute, Jahad-E-Esteghlal Institute shall act solely through subsidiaries, or by engaging, or accepting participation with other legal entities, or in cooperation with other natural persons in line with the activities of the institution, and in accordance with Note 1 under the Article 4 of the Statute , the board of directors of the institute shall act as the general assembly of companies and institutions, and according to Article 6 of the Statute, it pillars shall be the general assembly, the board of directors, the managing director and the legal auditor.
Pursuant to Article 2 of the Statute, Jahad-E-Esteghlal Institute shall have an independent legal, administrative, and financial legal personality and has been governed by the Statute and rules and regulations governing the non-governmental public institutions and entities.
